Its the way that you see me. Not the way you look at me, though the expression on your face is cinematic. The leading love on a silver screen, eyes glistening right on cue saying i love you - no. That's not the way you look at me, though you play the part perfectly. You dont just see me, you see through me. From my skin to the atoms that form my very essence. For the first time in my life I don't shy away from the perception. I stare right back. Back through your stone blue eyes with illuminated cracks of sun leaking around pitch black pupils the way light distorts on the event horizon, & I too am caught in your inescapable gravity, falling faster and faster into your depths... hoping you always catch me.
