I recently saw a clip of a podcast talking about lesbian scissoring being a "myth." This struck me as a very interesting choice in words, especially as a lesbian who partakes in tribbing. Tribbing comes in all forms, including the scissoring position, but at its core it is a very vulnerable, sometimes complicated but always otherworldly, soul touching experience with another person. Sapphic sex comes in all forms, with all different body types. Heigh differences, body composition, if you have an innie or an outie, its all a balance between two people, but when it works— oh it WORKS. Ive never felt such a connection before. There is an average of 10K nerves in the clitoris. That electricity racing through my body feels like the equivalent of a star exploding, like every atom in my body is trying to fuse with hers. It might not be a position we do often , or that even hits every time, but for a podcast to say that it's a complete myth - and a Sapphic podcast at that - is just completely false. Remember not to yuck anyone else's yum, be open minded, and just because you aren't interested in trying something doesn't mean no one is. When it comes to intimacy, there is no "normal." I've said it before but I don't mind being a broken record; sex is weird and dirty and sticky and exhausting and fun and exhilarating and hot and sexy and silly and more than all of that.... its HUMAN.
