“To shave or not to shave… that is the question.”
Fun Fact Friday:
The phrase "to be or not to be" is most famously associated with a famous line from William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet". In the play, the character Hamlet speaks the line "to be or not to be, that is the question" when contemplating suicide.
However, the actual author of the phrase is disputed. Some scholars argue that Shakespeare coined the phrase while others believe it may have been written by Thomas Sackville or Thomas Hoby earlier in the 16th century.
Regardless of authorship, the quote has become one of Shakespeare's most well-known and misquoted lines due to its frequent repetition and memorable phrasing in the play.
