On my Wishlist: David Bowie Heathen, A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector, At Fillmore East by the Allman Brothers, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John!) I guess I'm an old soul ;) Am I the only one who enjoys a good old LP album from time to time? I just love to sit, relax, and TRULY LISTEN to music. Nowadays, music has become way too much of a background noise we don't take time to enjoy the story behind the songs anymore. We have it on our phones, on our smart speakers, every fucking where! I remember the days, where I would get a new CD, lay on my bed, and just listen to it. Heck, I only knew one song of the album before purchasing it (and sometimes none, when it was an artist I really liked! I would just jump on the album and buy it!). You know, truly take time, to let the music sink it. To feel the emotions the artist was trying to share with you through his lyrics and his music. Am I crazy? Am I alone thinking that?
