I've been told that some of you were missing my travel stories. Well, today, let me share with you the beauty of the Amalfi Coast in Italy. I was only there for one day, back in the summer of 2018, and I had a private guide driving me around the coast. And thank god for that! The roads were sometimes SO narrow, and doing some 360 on the edges of a cliff LOL! If I had driven on that day, I probably wouldn't be there to tell you the story. Heck, I would have just parked the car and wait for someone to pick me up! I don't remember all the small villages I've visited, but I've stopped at a beautiful restaurant with a sea view. I have tasted more lemon products than I could count. And I did some shopping...! Everything I bought had lemons on, LOL (the area is famous for that!) The downside is that it was a day PACKED with tourists all over the place. It was crazy busy, and one day was not nearly enough to truly imbibe the area's culture. I wish I could back and stay longer. I'd recommend easily three days. Just driving from one village to another can take quite a while, and even more if there's a cruise ship stopping there on that day (which isn't that much of an issue in 2021, I guess, LOL) Sorry, no funny anecdotes or crazy things happened to me on that day. I left early, at the sunrise, and got back just before dinner. It was a lovely day, and all I have for you are some magnificent pictures!!! I'll try to post more of them later tonight!!! Toodles!
