

Most of us these days are living in a safe environment. We don't have to deal with life threatening situations as we did a thousand years ago. But even in our safety, many of us still live in a constant state of fear. Not the physical fear. More of a low grade psychological fear. A world of "what if" scenarios relentlessly racing through our minds. In our evolution as human beings, we have replace our physical fears with a new form that has its roots in our busy minds. It's often based on imaginary events that are no means certain. Yet, we react to them as if they were set in stone. That leads to a constant stress that can slowly kill you. And at the end of the day, most of those events won't even have happened. In those moments, I try to remember. Inhale. Exhale. 2 simple words.
