You can find a lot of information about that on my previous Mindful Monday posts. Today, I'm sharing with you one of my favorite meditations to reduce anxiety. It involves some breathing techniques and can genuinely do a wonder. A lot of people think meditation is stupid and not manly at all. Did you know that some of the world's top athletes and top business people practice it daily? Here's just a shortlist of people admitting in interviews to practice it daily: Bill Gates, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Phil Jackson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Lucas, Clint Eastwood, Paul McCartney, Mario Batali, Jerry Seinfield, Jeff Weiner. Manly enough now? Give it a go if you feel anxious... what do you have to lose? You're already stressed out, it can't be worst! ;) Oh, and I know that most of us have issues sitting legs crossed. We aren't as flexible, or it hurts our hips. My advice? Just sit on a book, a yoga block, or a firm pillow to lift your hips. It will help alleviate some of the hip pressure and be much easier. BUT at the end of the day, meditation is about being comfortable. If that doesn't work for you. Sit on a chair, back flat on the back of that chair. Or just lay down. It's not a physical workout.
